The voucher which was offered by The Model Shop was drawn up in a lottery on Sunday at Halfar on the 26th November during the morning flying session. This was open to all the members who participated in the Open Day event and all the names were put in a box and Karl Pavia being the youngest drew the winning ticket. Guess who won the prize?  His father Emanuel Pavia.  Congratulations Emanuel.

The use of the 41Mhz band for model aircraft flying is not generally known at our site. This frequency is legal in Malta and to ease the burden on the 35Mhz band some members are switching over to this frequency. The committee has decided to allocate only one flyer per channel until the band is completely utilised. Those wishing to switch over or start utilizing this band are to apply for an unused channel. There are 21 channels, starting from 41.000 to 41.200 at 10Khz spacing. i.e. 41.000;  .010  .020  .030, etc. The occupied frequencies are 41.050, 41.060, 41.080, 41.140, and 41.190.
